Synopsis

Night. It is snowing. A young, good looking girl walks arm in arm with thin, elegant and well preserved NIKOLA (49) and his younger brother, a bit plump, slipshod BRACO (42). Careful that no one would notice, they enter the hospital where the father of these two men, a famous painter, is dying.

The old man is sleeping. On his cabinet there is a drawing pad and a felt pen with the beginning of a drawing; on the walls around his bed there are drawings with the repeating motif of naked men and women in sexual intercourse. Braco stops next to a particularly perverse sketch showing two women and a man and looks at his sleeping father in surprise. At the same time, Nikola whispers something to the girl. She laughs in low voice, a bit nervously, then, provocatively looking at Nikola, raises her skirt, lowers her panties and approaches the bed, very close to the dying painter. Braco sits and waits for his reaction. The old man opens his eyes, sees a pussy in front of him and his face lightens up. He blissfully closes his eyes. His head sinks into the pillow. He passed away.

That is the beginning of five separated, sometimes parallel and at the same time very connected stories that happen in Zagreb today in which five characters are living their “double lives”. Five intimate, sentimental and bittersweet stories about five very different individuals in their search for love and happiness.
