Mr Kapovic went on to say that this was “another good example of the continued strengthening of co-production capacities in Croatian cinematography and it shows that Croatian films are proving their worth on the international market.”

The financial support which has expanded from 110 to 550 thousand Euro's was given to 13 projects, which included films by Jan Švankmajer and Bela Tarr.

The film ''Just between us“,is currently in production and is based on a screenplay by Rajko Grlic and Ante Tomic. It is co-produced with Serbia and Slovenia and has already received support from both these countries.
As Mr Grlic says, this film, connecting five sometimes parallel bitter-sweet stories about people in search of love and happiness, takes him back to the place where his love affair with films began and, “to the streets, apartments and beds of Zagreb”.
